After witnessing a downfall for the whole of 2009, exports of readymade garments from Jordan, have picked up in the first few months of 2010.
According to statistics released by the Bank of Jordan, in the first four months of 2010, exports of clothing totaled to JD186.8 million, up 2.9 percent year-on-year.
Of this export value, 93 percent was destined to its biggest buyer, the United States. Garment exports topped all other industries among other exporting sectors.
