LC Waikiki, a ready-made garment major in Turkey, is all set to enter overseas markets and to take a substantial step in 2011, as per a member of the Executive Board of Tema Holding, Sefik Dizdar.
Each of the Turkish provinces will see the establishment of LC Waikiki shops, soon. The major that employs over 9,000 people in Turkey, already has more than 250 shops at various parts of the country.
Also, it has a big factory in Egypt employing about 2,000 people. The products manufactured in Egypt are shipped to US and Europe without quota limitations, informed Dizdar.
LC Waikiki was initially a French brand, born in France, which was in 1997 bought over by Tema Group and since then has operated as a Turkish brand.
