Cinch Jeans as title sponsor of Rocky Mountain Showdown

The Metro Denver Sports Commission in association with the University of Colorado and Colorado State University announced that Cinch Jeans has agreed to a three-year agreement as the new title sponsor of the Cinch Jeans Rocky Mountain Showdown, the annual CU vs. CSU rivalry football game.

Cinch Jeans is the signature brand of Rocky Mountain Clothing Company, Colorado's locally owned western wear company.

Starting in 2010, the Cinch Jeans Rocky Mountain Showdown is returning to Invesco Field at Mile High for 10 years. This year's matchup takes place on Sept. 4 with kickoff set for 12 noon MDT.

Joining Cinch Jeans is Dr Pepper, which is returning as a presenting sponsor of the 2010 event, along with another hometown company, Ultimate Electronics, which will be the second presenting sponsor of the game.

KieAnn Brownell, president of the Metro Denver Sports Commission said, "We could not be more excited about the new partnerships for the Rocky Mountain Showdown. The Rocky Mountain Clothing Company with Cinch Jeans, given their roots and commitment to Denver and both universities, are the perfect title partner. Dr Pepper has not only been a tremendous supporter of the game in past years but to college football nationally. And Ultimate Electronics, another local company, completes the trifecta."

Keith Mundee, vice president of sales/marketing at Cinch Jeans said, "Miller International Inc. is the parent company of Cinch Jeans and Shirts. Miller is a Denver-based clothing company since 1918.
