The apex body of clothing exporters, Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) is organizing a series of seminar/workshops on factory improvement, capacity building and productivity enhancement in various apparel clusters across India.

Schedule of Seminars is Gurgaon on August 9, Ludhiana on Aug 11, Tirupur on August 24, Bangalore on August 25, Chennai on August 26, Navi Mumbai on September 7, 2010.

The seminar will cover subjects like -
1) Global Benchmark for Social Compliance in Apparel Manufacturing.
2) India's competitive advantage & need for factory improvement and productivity enhancement.
3) Areas of immediate improvement (compliance challenges & AEPC programmes from Knowledge, Hand Holding & obtaining endorsement from international agencies.

The panels of experts and speakers are -
1) Shri Anil Sahai, Managing Director - T group
2) Ms. Lakshmi Menon Bhatia, Director –GAP
3) Shri Rajesh Bheda, Expert in Productivity enhancement
4) Shri Roger Thomas: Expert in factory and productivity improvement.
