Providing golfers with outstanding knitwear has been a bedrock of Glenmuir's 119-year success and the Autumn/Winter Men's 1891 Classic Collection has been updated with five new products including a new cardigan, sweater and slipover alongside two superb new polo shirts.

In total, a brand new Men's 1891 Classic Collection comprises 39 high-quality products for the golfer who demands excellence from their golfwear, whether looking for a classically-styled polo shirt to a luxurious Scottish cashmere sweater.

Every product bearing the prestigious Glenmuir 1891 hallmark is designed with specific attention to quality and comfort.

The ever-popular Men's Fashion Lambswool range of 100% machine washable lambswool products welcomes the stunning new 'Camarthen' cardigan with smart contrast, colour styling on the sleeve seams, neck rib and zip; the superb zip-neck 'Cradoc' sweater with its stylish and understated diamond intarsia design on the sleeve; and the contemporary 'Glamorgan' slipover which is characterised by a diamond intarsia front panel.

Each is available in three colour combinations from Glenmuir's new Autumn/Winter colour palettes, which includes the stunning New England Fall scheme, a rich mix of forest green, leather brown, stone and rust.

Glenmuir's Men's Luxury Shirts are synonymous with quality and two new models have been introduced for the season. A fabulous new interlock fabric - Supima cotton with a special finish - gives a superb drape and supersoft handle to the 'Rhyl' and 'Gwent' shirts.

The former is top quality, solid colour, long-sleeve shirt with self-colour collar, while the short-sleeve 'Gwent' is available in three narrow horizontal stripe designs, with rib collar. Both feature Glenmuir's iconic 1891 Black Label on the right sleeve.

Unveiling the new collection, Glenmuir marketing director, Brian Mair, says: "Our Men's 1891 Classic Collection is renowned for quality and its enduring appeal, but the addition of a fashion lambswool cardigan - a must-have in many younger players' wardrobes - shows we are stretching its appeal to an even wider audience while remaining true to the collection's traditional roots.

"Golfers will also love the interlocking Supima cotton fabric in the new 'Rhyl' and 'Gwent' shirts. The finish is exceptional and underlines the entire collection's commitment to giving golfers quality at every turn."

Comprising more than 290 style and colour combinations, the Glenmuir Men's 1891 Classic Collection presents the ultimate opportunity to create a stunning co-ordinated wardrobe.

It incorporates all of the company's distinctive Black Label products - Luxury Shirts, Classic Shirts, Scottish Cashmere, Lamora Knitwear, Heavyweight and Lightweight Merino Knitwear, Supima and Supersoft Cotton Knitwear, Classic and Fashion Lambswool Knitwear, Trousers and Shorts.
