ACM launches body armour products in Ghana

Associated Composite Materials (ACM), a reputed security company from India in association with Virtual Security Africa, recently introduced the latest version of Body Armour products in Ghana.
ACM is a subsidiary of the Associated Group of India, a reputable US $50 million worth engineering, manufacturing and export organisation based in Noida Special Economy Zone (NSEZ), India.
As revealed in a statement released during the launch, Personal Body Armour is a kind of bulletproof vest used to safeguard police, individual citizens and private security guards or bodyguards, while hard-plate reinforced vests are particularly used by combat soldiers, police tactical units and hostage rescue teams.
ACM has partnered with VSA, a digital surveillance company, as both companies share a common goal to provide the Ministries of Defence and National Securities in Africa with the best solution and a one-stop shop and high end military hardware.
This is to make up for the Ghanaian government's purpose of virtually combating crime and to sustain peace and security in the country, to support sustainable development.
ACM which is involved in production of advanced ballistic solutions, engineering plastic solutions, manufacture of ballistic glass and technical textile materials for special applications and in providing turnkey engineering solutions, intends to set up a base in Ghana for production and assembling of its goods which can be further supplied to other parts of Africa.
