The Board of Directors of International Legwear Group (ILG), a global manufacturer and marketer of legwear, has announced the appointments of two key senior positions within the company.

The first appointment is that of Jim Williams, who has been named Chief Executive Officer of ILG. Mr. Williams was formerly President and CEO of Gold Toe Brands for 20 years. He left Gold Toe in 2008 following the company's acquisition by The Blackstone Group and subsequent merger with Moretz Hosiery. During his 40-year career in the legwear industry, Mr. Williams also served as Chairman of the Board of Maidenform Worldwide as well as for The Hosiery Association.

The second appointment is that of Brey Williams to the position of Chief Marketing Officer for ILG. Brey Williams most recently served as President of Sales of Gold Toe/Moretz. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President of National Accounts for Gold Toe Brands. In his 15-year history in the hosiery business, he has served in leadership roles in all areas of marketing, merchandising and sales.

Scott Andrews, Chairman of the ILG Board of Directors, said, "We are particularly excited and happy with these key additions to our executive leadership team at ILG. The addition of Jim and Brey provides the company with a management team that is unmatched in the legwear industry. In joining Kathy Willis, ILG's President who engineered the company's financial turnaround three years ago, ILG now has the industry's most experienced and successful leadership across all facets of the hosiery industry. ILG has always been known as a great manufacturing company. With the addition of Jim and Brey, we now have a world class team to leverage our manufacturing platform and return ILG to industry prominence."

Jim Williams stated, "Brey and I are obviously very happy to be working together again. But both of us are even more thrilled to be a part of the very strong ILG team already in place. We believe we can make major contributions that will help ILG achieve even greater levels of success with their retail partners going forward.

"ILG has a very solid base upon which to grow, including the top retail customers, our own manufacturing facility in Mexico, the best international suppliers available, highly experienced employees, and an impressive and growing brand portfolio led by the Peds brand which ILG owns. This is a very rare opportunity, and we are both extremely excited about the future for ILG."

Located in Hildebran, North Carolina, International Legwear Group owns the well-known Peds and Medi-Peds brands. ILG also designs, manufactures and distributes socks and legwear under other well-known brands such as Haggar and Walls, as well as strategic private label programs.
