La Martina, the renowned Argentinean fashion brand, has opened a store in Emirates Mall. The new outlet offers the complete range of La Martina fashion products, including the famous polo fashion line. This is the second outlet, after the Dubai Mall store.

Mr. Lando Simonetti, owner of La Martina said: “Opening a second store in the UAE is part of our strategy to enhance our presence in the Middle East. The demand for La Martina fashion products and accessories had witnessed double digit growth in most prominent markets worldwide including the UAE. Our UAE sales are higher than many other major global markets.”

La Martina first established a name for itself as a designer of leather gods and uniforms for polo players, and over the years, spurred by demand, the brand has diversified to add general fashion products for ladies, men and kids. The La Martina products, though made with polo as the inspiration, are perfect for day-to-day use as well. Each product at La Martina is meticulously designed, produced and tested to ensure highest quality standards.

Ayman Hanbali, Marketing Manager, Al Khayyat Investments, official representative of La Martina in the Middle East, said: “We are happy to open up this store in Mall of the Emirates. This comes in response to the success of our first outlet in Dubai Mall. Our new outlet is on par with key La Martina outlets in the world.

La Martina aims to come closer to its region's customers through the new outlet which is spread over an area of 400 square meters and designed to reflect La Martina international standards.

La Martina's new retail store is a beautiful and richly decorated venue where customers can browse and shop in an ideal living-room environment. The classic La Martina style has been tailored specifically to the Middle East market, to create a store with black and white marble floor tiles, vintage chandeliers contemporized through the use of black lampshades and antique furniture shipped from Argentina.

Hanbali concluded: “We have re-created the homey “La Casona” concept (which means 'home' in Argentina) in the new outlet which is designed to evoke an ambience of coziness, as if they are visiting a Polo champion's house.”

The store at Mall of the Emirates is similar to outlets found in most of the exclusive locations worldwide – including Saint-Tropez, Deauville, Megève, Madrid, Mykonos, Capri and Puerto Banús. Also, earlier last year a new polo pro-shop at Guards Polo Club was opened in the attendance of HRH The Queen of England who cut the ceremonial ribbon.
