H&M designs Mentor T-Shirt line

Mentor and H&M are proud to announce a partnership to launch a collection of t-shirts to promote the prevention of drug abuse. Designed by H&M, the one-off collection is currently on sale in 45 H&M stores across the USA in all major markets. The Mentor Foundation, which has reached more than three million children and youth globally, aims to “help the helpers” by identifying the most promising and excellent practices for drug prevention and disseminating this knowledge. Twenty five percent of the t-shirt sales will be donated to Mentor.

The Mentor t-shirt line includes three t-shirts for men and two tank tops for women. Each shirt communicates the important message that young people can influence their peers to develop healthy and positive lifestyles.

“We're proud to partner with the Mentor Foundation for this campaign. Together we can raise protective awareness for young people. The purpose is to provide H&M customers with stylish clothing, while at the same time raising money for a great cause” said Daniel Kulle, H&M North America President.

“This T-shirt works perfectly with our mission of empowering young people to avoid drug misuse. This gives an opportunity of having thousand of young people helping to carry this important message” said Yvonne Thunell, Chairman of the Mentor Foundation.

In addition to launching the Mentor t-shirt collection, H&M was the title sponsor of the Mentor Foundation 2010 Prevention Awards. The award ceremony was hosted by the Mentor Foundation and the awards were presented by Her Majesty the Queen of Sweden at a gala in Washington D.C. on October 14, 2010.
