ToeSox launches newest sport toe socks with Cocona
Nov '10
Word is out. After nearly a year of extensive product development, ToeSox has finally announced the arrival of their ULTRA Sport ToeSox made with Cocona Natural Technology. The company's presence has been strongly focused on barefoot activities like yoga, Pilates, martial arts and dance. Before the new running socks were launched to the public via their online store and retail channels, ToeSox premiered the line at the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) conference in Long Beach on November 4-7.

“Our ToeSox with Grip speaks to the Pilates audience, but we wanted to show off the new style. We knew there would be interest, but didn't expect the reaction we did,” says Joe Patterson, ToeSox president. “They sold out well before the conference ended.”

If this initial success is any indication of what's to come, ULTRA Sport ToeSox will be a contender for the top running socks on the market. The company's introduction of ULTRA Sport ToeSox expands their reach to the entire fitness community. ToeSox with Grip are worn during barefoot activities, while ULTRA Sport ToeSox are worn in shoes, including the Vibram FiveFingers.

Keeping with the company's mission to 'promote healthy feet while supporting the community and planet', ULTRA Sport ToeSox are the first and only toe socks made with activated carbon from recycled coconut shells. Cocona takes the coconut shells (not husks) that would have gone to landfills and converts the reclaimed shells into activated carbon.

This natural technology provides the ultimate in evaporative cooling and odor management making the fibers the fastest in moisture wicking. The anatomical five-toe pocket design of ULTRA Sport ToeSox eliminates moisture and friction between toes creating an anti-blister environment paramount to long distance walkers and runners. The ULTRA Sport line also features a cushion sole and heel, vented knit top and arch support band.

ToeSox Inc was founded in 2004 with the launch of its patented Non-Slip Grip sole, and has since grown from a home-based business to selling various styles nationwide and to more than 32 countries.
