Hyosung Corporation's creora brand launches 2012 trends for hosiery and socks.

Spotlight: Edgy and urban influences inspire this attention seeking sock direction as funky colors, graphics and styling create trendy new looks. From wacky prints to innovative jacquards this direction can be worked subtly or to the extreme in delivering vibrant socks.

creora C-400 enhances classic white, softness and size retention, while creora black intensifies dark & contrast colors. Use cotton-touch MIPAN soft with the range of creora spandex/elastane yarns for comfort and fit. Bright MIPAN fine yarns for razzle dazzle brilliance with wool/mohair to soften & blur surfaces.

Sleek: A classic grouping for socks takes on a natural luster and brilliance. A luxury element is added with the inclusion of silk and cashmere and for the eco aware consumer, recycled and sustainable fibers.

Black is the market leader with creora black for intense tones, but consider adding color coded toe and heel details or colored tipping to socks to help consumer regroup after washing. creora C-400 for vibrant lighter tones and steam settable comfort. Cotton-touch air textured Mipan soft, blended with silk, cashmere and wool, mercerized & organic cotton, Tencel and Modal.

Additional function includes moisture management, anti bacterial and thermoregulation.

Wistful: An interest in kooky aspects fuels this direction as nostalgia and fun combine. From horizontal hoops in contrasting tones through to graphic intarsia and jacquards, this trend relies on a natural touch to fulfil the mood. Cotton and wool feature blended with creora spandex/elastane yarns for fit and comfort.

Color is key with creora C-400 enhancing classic white and light tones, updated through graphics, classic pontelle and rib structures overprinted to create an illusion. Fashion led, for winter and summer, with the choice of colors and natural fibers, MIPAN regen recycled nylon for an eco aspect, or cotton-touch MIPAN soft.
