GARMENTECH will celebrate 10th anniversary

The premier technology and allied services international tradeshow for the RMG industry in the country, GARMENTECH Bangladesh completes 10 years with GARMENTECH Bangladesh 2011 scheduled to be held between January 12 and 15, 2011 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, Dhaka.

Been organized by Zakaria Trade & Fair International and ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, this premier technology event for the RMG industry will have on display latest in sewing, finishing, laundry, embroidery, CAD/CAM, Printing technology for global leaders in the respective field.

“The scale of participation has been bigger than last year which goes on to indicate renewed interest in investment in technology after a lull of nearly 18 months since mid 2009 and 2010.” informs Mr. Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, General Manager, Zakaria Trade & Fair International.

“Zhejiang Sewing Machinery Association from China a province renowned for manufacturing international quality industrial sewing Machines have signed an MOU for bringing their pavilion at GARMENTECH Bangladesh 2011, which is an Interesting highlight of this edition” he informed.

2nd edition of IFA Sourcing Fair Dhaka 2011
IFA Sourcing Fair Dhaka 2011 is a platform conceived to address the apparel fabrics and garment accessories sourcing needs of the Bangladesh clothing and knitwear manufacturers and exporters.

Being held concurrent to the 10th edition of Garmentech Bangaldesh the most visited tradeshow by the RMG industry; participants get the assured opportunity of meeting the entire cross section of the clothing industry, thus guaranteeing wide exposure to their products and services.

The RMG sector is expected to grow despite the global financial crisis of 2009. As China is finding it challenging to make textile and foot wear items at cheap price, due to rising labor costs, many foreign investors, are coming to Bangladesh to take advantage of the low labor cost.

In this context 2nd edition of IFA Sourcing Fair Dhaka is conceived to address the sourcing and garment accessories sourcing needs of Bangladesh clothing and knitwear manufacturers and exporters.
