In a bid to stabilize prices in the textile and apparel domestic market, apparel retailer; Vinatex has decided to provide VND 500 billion (US $25 million) to local fabric suppliers.
The Vinatex retail chain is owned by Vietnam National Textile Garment Group (Vinatex), one of the biggest textile and clothing manufacturer in Vietnam.
The textile group has given assurance that, it will ensure supplies of textiles will be stable and will also keep prices unchanged for the upcoming shopping season.
Fabric suppliers have been hit hard by the fluctuating and rising prices of cotton in the last few months.
