Protective Clothing Experts PPSS have now developed and launched ultra tough and puncture resistant animal handling gloves using the world's strongest cut resistant fabric Cut-Tex PRO.

PPSS's new animal handling gloves and gauntlets have specially been designed to protect dog wardens, animal inspectors and animal welfare professionals.

Robert Kaiser, CEO of PPSS said: “We are working tirelessly to improve the personal safety of professionals dealing with potentially hostile members of the public and also dangerous or distressed animals.”

“We fully understand the responsibilities all employers have to provide suitable hand protection to their employees.”

Lost and stray dogs and other animals can be a danger to themselves and others. Whilst most animal owners love and care for their animals, those that do not meet their obligations can cause real problems, often resulting in serious injuries.

In order to address these concerns many local authorities have dedicated Dog Warden and Animal Welfare Officers, whose responsibilities include dealing with stray dogs, investigating dog related complaints, enforcement of laws and patrolling of parks, streets and other open spaces.

Robert Kaiser explains: “Those professionals, who advise others regarding dangerous or aggressive dogs, as defined by the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and Dogs Act 1871, can find themselves often dealing with potentially hostile members of the public and dangerous dogs.”

“We are here to offer them the best possible forms of protective clothing”.

PPSS use only the best textiles and materials for their new and very comfortable animal handling gloves and gauntlets.

“Our ultra tough and puncture resistant animal handling gloves or gauntlets, using Elkhide, Cowhide and our recently developed ultra high cut resistant textile Cut-Tex PRO, improve the personal safety of those who care and serve the community”.

All animal handling gloves and gauntlets offer the highest possible cut resistance level and high penetration resistance.
