Glenmuir continues its PGAs of Europe corporate partnership

GLENMUIR, one of Europe's leading golf apparel brands, has renewed its corporate partnership with the PGAs of Europe and will continue to support the organisation's International Team Championship.

The Scotland-based company regards working with the PGAs of Europe as an excellent way to strengthen its relationship with many PGA professionals working outside of the UK and Ireland.

Glenmuir supports many initiatives and activities in golf, especially at grass roots level where PGA professionals are often at the forefront of projects designed to grow and develop the game.

Colin Mee, managing director of Glenmuir, said: “We are delighted to renew our status as a Corporate Partner of the PGAs of Europe.

“Particularly in countries where golf is just being developed, or where the game is still in its infancy, it is important for the golf industry to support PGA professionals and help them to deliver the game in the correct way.

“Being a Corporate Partner directly helps to support PGAs of Europe members while sponsoring the International Team Championship means those members have a high-profile championship in which they can be proud to play.”

From the Ryder Cup to the PGA Cup and the Glenmuir PGA Professional Championship, Glenmuir consistently demonstrates its love for the game of golf at all levels.

Said Ian Randell, PGAs of Europe chief executive
“Glenmuir continue to be great supporters of professional golf and providers of excellent service to PGA Professionals. Their team is a joy to work with and extremely professional in the manner in which they conduct their business.

2011 brings the sixth year that we have enjoyed their support for our International Team Championship which has also been instrumental in the forming of mutually beneficial relationships with a large number of our member PGAs. In fact it is testament to the strength of the partnership and quality of Glenmuir products that no less than 18 teams wore Glenmuir apparel for the 2010 Championship.”
