SLAM Shops and Point Loma Outfitting offers the latest in sailing and foul weather gear from the SLAM. The New 2011 US Super Yacht collection from SLAM is Italian designed and inspired by Yachtsmen from around the world.

The US Super Yacht Collection for 2011 is a complete Re-Invention of the SLAM Clothing line from skin to shell. Fresh Italian designs for the 2011 SLAM line begins with new and updated technical fabrics offering better protection from the elements and body temperature control. SLAM's Italian designers utilize these fabrics to create comfortable, functional everyday fitting clothes for men and women that feel good and look great. Highlights of the 2011 SLAM US Super Yacht Collection are as follows:

New in the SLAM Foul Weather Line is the addition of the BOR Spray Top. This spray top was tested and worn by top sailing competitors and major competition winners. It is flexible, comfortable and best of all protects you from the environments.

SLAM Force 2 Inshore / Coastal Foul Weather Gear: The Force 2 Series offers Jacket and Pants combinations in Red, Steel and Grey. The SLAM Force 2 series coastal weight foul weather gear is very affordable for sailing crews. The Force 2 complements the current Women's New Racing Foul Weather Gear.

New baselayers include the Long Sleeve Bascom, Thermal Pant Boyette, T-shirt Kioti and the Bike Mendun. All are thermal under layers, with ergonomic designs, breathable and thermal regulating. These layers are great baselayers for many outdoor activities including, sailing, hiking, biking, rock climbing, skiing or simply watching a football game in Chicago or any other cold climate.

Waterproof, breathable, and windproof Softshell Jackets continue their rise in popularity and SLAM offers two new jackets the Aventura for men and the Astatula for women which offers a comfortable soft shell combined with polar fleece, internal stretch cuffs and a removable hood.

New Fleece clothing includes the Felpa Bartow fleece 1/2 zip pullover and the women's Felpa Kathleen full zip fleece jacket which is available in white and navy.

This year a new collection of Polo Shirts for men and women join the SLAM Polo Regata. The Polo Dundee and Polo Conway are new styles for men both available in navy and white and for the ladies the new Polo Keystone comes in navy and white as well. Both the Conway and Keystone are made from the TECHNO PIQUET fabric which wicks away moisture making this a quick drying technical polo shirt.
