Newport Harbor to launch Brescia into branded men's category

Amincor Inc, a company focused on growth facilitation for its subsidiary companies and assets, announced the addition of Brescia Apparel Corp. to its licensing program for Newport Harbor, an Amincor brand. The deal represents the first 'branded' license for Brescia Apparel within the men's category.

The Newport Harbor licensing deal provides Brescia Apparel with the exclusive, North American rights for leather and textile goods in the outerwear and rainwear categories. Currently, leather and down jacket outerwear products have launched for Fall 2011, while rainwear will debut in 2012.

“The selection of the Newport Harbor brand to launch our firm into the branded men's category is a perfect fit for our business and expertise,” said Michael Brescia, president of Brescia Apparel, Corp. “Newport Harbor is known throughout the industry as one of the most reputable, better brands in the outerwear market,” continued Brescia. “Our management team has decades of experience in the men's market, and we are thrilled to have Newport Harbor as our first branded license in a growing category for us.”

Newport Harbor is part of Amincor's portfolio of brands which also include Caffeine, a mixed martial arts brand and Stimuli, a surfboarding, skateboarding and BMX brand. Moreover, Epic Sports International, Inc, an Amincor subsidiary company, is the exclusive licensee of the Volkl Tennis and Boris Becker Tennis brands.

Brescia Apparel Corp is a manufacturer of women's and men's outerwear, in both leather and textiles. The firm's business consists of the licensed brands in its portfolio under Stone Mountain, Press and FoxRun, as well as proprietary brands and private label in a full range of outerwear coats, jackets and rainwear.
