Garment sector likely to fetch $150mn export orders from Magic Fair

Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), the leading body of garment exporters, has taken part in one of the biggest fashion shows of the world – The Magic Fair, Las Vegas in order to promote the Indian garment industry internationally.
It has been projected that the Indian garment exporters will be in a position to fetch around US $150 million worth export orders through the promotional activities carried out by AEPC at the Magic Fair.
The exhibition has started from February 13 at Las Vegas, USA. The exhibition will have exhibitors from India showcasing their garment manufacturing potential. Garment manufacturers from garment producing centres of Tirupur, Delhi, Mumbai and the states of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan have taken part in the exhibition.
The Las Vegas Magic Fair is internationally popular and it extends a global platform to the fashion industry for trade. It is one of the most preferred sites where buyers and sellers from different parts of the world converge and not only that they deal into all kinds of apparel, accessories and footwear. In fact, several international fashion trends have emerged from this fair only.
AEPC has been extending its support to Indian exporters and importers or global buyers who select India as their most favorite sourcing destination for garments. The fair is also likely to extend a strong foundation for several Indian exhibitors in the US market.
Apart from the Magic Fair, AEPC is also going to take part in the Buyer Seller Meet which is supposed to be held at Chile and Uruguay from 31st March to 5th April and the Futura Fair to be organized in Dublin, Ireland from 27th February to 1st March, this year.
