Eva Mendes tones up with Reebok

Actress Eva Mendes is showing off her assets while sporting the latest footwear and apparel from Reebok's toning collection.

“I feel better when I'm in good shape, and that's what I like about Reebok EasyTone – it gives me a little extra as I go about my daily activities,” said Ms. Mendes. “Between long days on the set and travel, it's not always possible to get a full workout in, so I have to make the time I have count, and that's why I love going for hikes and walking my dog in my EasyTone shoes. It's even better since EasyTone apparel flatters my curves and the EasyTone shoes look great – they have a sleek, slim look, just like regular sneakers. As an actress, being fit is important, and EasyTone is my great secret!”

Uli Becker, President of Reebok International, said: “Eva Mendes fits perfectly with Reebok and EasyTone - she's fun, inspirational, committed to fitness and a style icon to women around the world. EasyTone is about helping women get a better body with every move, and it's clear Eva's been pretty active because she looks great.”

Ms. Mendes, who stars in the upcoming film “Last Night” opposite Keira Knightley and Sam Worthington, joined Reebok and the Reetoners, seven inspirational women from around the world, to kick off the EasyTone Spring/Summer '11 collection and launch EasyTone Apparel globally.

Building on the incredible success of EasyTone footwear, EasyTone Apparel is Reebok's first toning apparel and features stylish tops and bottoms which are designed to help tone key muscles as a part of a healthy fitness lifestyle.

The premium apparel uses Reebok's proprietary ResisTone™ bands to create resistance with every move. The ResisTone bands, which are constructed from resistant yet flexible material, are strategically placed on the apparel based on anatomical research and fit snugly against the wearer's body.

EasyTone pants, capri pants and shorts are designed to help tone the hamstring, quadriceps and butt muscles with every step, and EasyTone upper body apparel, which includes long bra styles and short-sleeved and sleeveless shirts, is designed to help tone key upper body muscles and promote greater postural alignment.

In addition to EasyTone Apparel, Ms. Mendes wears Reebok's most popular EasyTone shoe style for the season, the EasyTone Reenew. The sporty style, as with all of Reebok's toning footwear, features Reebok's proprietary Moving Air technology and Balance Ball™-inspired pods which create softness and micro-instability, designed to help tone key leg and butt muscles.

Ms. Mendes is also one of the first to try Reebok's Fall/Winter '11 styles of EasyTone footwear and apparel. Earlier this week, she took part in a photo shoot with Ellen Von Unwerth, where she posed in some of this season's EasyTone styles and got a sneak peek at next season's styles.

Reebok International Ltd headquartered in Canton, MA, USA, is a leading worldwide designer, marketer and distributor of sports, fitness and casual footwear, apparel and equipment. An American-inspired global brand, Reebok is a pioneer in the sporting goods industry with a rich and storied heritage in running, training and fitness.
