INVISTA and Olah Inc announce that INVISTA will sponsor the upcoming Kingpins show in India scheduled to take place in Delhi on April 27-28. According to the show's founder, Andrew Olah, president of Olah Inc., with the explosive growth of stretch denim in the region, it makes perfect sense for INVISTA to be the show's sponsor. “Since the LYCRA brand represents the world's most widely recognized family of high quality stretch fibers in the world, we are thrilled to have INVISTA as the sponsor of this show,” Olah said.

Likewise, INVISTA welcomes the opportunity to support such an innovative trade show concept, the first of its kind in South Asia. “The Kingpins Show offers a unique opportunity to meet with local South Asian brands and retailers—as well as international buying houses in a relaxed, intimate setting—and to support our mill customers who are exhibiting at the show,” said Andrew Evans, INVISTA's managing director for South Asia. INVISTA will showcase new developments in super stretch fabrics with LYCRA fiber and LYCRA T400 fiber, as well as COOLMAX fabrics and durable CORDURA Denim fabrics.

The India Kingpins show will feature top quality exhibitors representing all facets of the denim and casual sportswear value chain from fiber and fabrics to laundries and trim. Key resources from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will be represented, as well as a number of leading global mills and denim industry resources.

According to Rishi Suri, INVISTA's regional sales director, a key benefit of the show is that brands and retailers are able to access the entire value chain in one location. “The show offers an efficient means of establishing new contacts, as well as conducting business with existing suppliers. The LYCRA fiber business is pleased to be facilitating these interactions,” Suri said.

The India show is a private, invitation only event and will be followed by Kingpins shows in Hong Kong (June 8 and 9), New York (July 19 and 20) and Los Angeles (July 26 and 27).

INVISTA is one of the world's largest integrated producers of polymers and fibers, primarily for nylon, spandex and polyester applications.

LYCRA is a trademark of INVISTA.
