Destination Maternity Corporation, which owns and operates the world's leading maternity apparel brands A Pea in the Pod and Motherhood Maternity, announced that it has completed the recent nationwide expansion of its maternity apparel relationship with Macy's, Inc. With this expansion, a great selection of maternity fashions is now available at 631 Macy's department stores throughout the United States.

Expectant Macy's shoppers can find wardrobe essentials and the latest designs straight from runways around the world specially fit to flatter the pregnant silhouette. This season's trends include everything from delicate girly dresses with ruffled tiers and corsage necklines to an edgier look that mixes the skinny cargo and distressed roll-cuff boyfriend jean with graphic python, zebra, and splatter prints.

"We are excited about our new spring fashions, and are thrilled to be the exclusive maternity brands offered at such a trusted store like Macy's," said Ed Krell, Chief Executive Officer & President of Destination Maternity. "We have been a proud partner with Macy's for nearly 20 years, and with this recent expansion, which began in late January, moms-to-be throughout the United States can now find one of our maternity apparel departments in 631 Macy's stores, up from 115 Macy's stores."

"Our goal is to serve our customer with great fashion and choice at every stage of her life – and that includes now having new modern options for maternity at Macy's," said Jeff Gennette, Macy's Chief Merchandising Officer. "The expansion with Destination Maternity means that we can be a bigger and more relevant part of this special time for her."

Destination Maternity merchandise, under the A Pea in the Pod and Motherhood Maternity brands, is the exclusive maternity and nursing apparel offered in Macy's locations. Consistent with the My Macy's localization approach, maternity product assortments are tailored to best serve the clientele at each store location. Destination Maternity operated leased departments in Macy's have something for every mom-to-be.
