L.A. fashion designer to visit Lillians & TCL this summer!

Lillians, the Hippest Shoppe in Town, announced that the company has been selected by the producers of TWIN CITIES LIVE to serve as the show's official clothing and accessories sponsor for 2011. The show airs locally Monday through Friday on KSTP-TV's Channel 5 at 3 p.m.

As a sponsor, Lillians will provide TCL Hostess Elizabeth Ries and Field Reporter Emily Engberg with all their clothing and accessories worn on-air, during appearances and in photo shoots throughout the year. The company will also provide the show with coupons, specials and giveaways for Friday's live studio audiences, and sisters Cindy Deuser, CEO of Lillians, and Sue Olmscheid, the company's CFO/COO, will occasionally appear on the show to offer their fashion and accessory expertise.

In exchange, KSTP-TV will provide Lillians with a daily visual credit at the end of the show; a featured section in TCL's email club; placement of the Lillians logo with hyperlinks to the shoppes' Web pages from the show's online partner page; daily "Elizabeth's Closet" Web segments detailing the Lillians fashions to be worn on the show; plus occasional appearances by both Ms. Ries and Ms. Engberg at Lillians events.

"Lillians has quickly become the brand for providing women throughout the Twin Cities – and around the country – with the latest handbags, fashions and accessories at very reasonable prices. To be selected by Elizabeth, Emily and the producers of TCL to showcase our merchandise on this level is a dream come true. Now, women in the viewing audience can visit their local Lillians shoppe and pick up an item or two featured on the show."

Deuser went on to say that Los Angeles-based Fashion Designer Veronica Monroy-Ferrer, creator of the "VeronicaM" clothing brand, has agreed to visit Lillians and appear on TCL this summer.

"VeronicaM is one of Elizabeth Ries' favorite brands, and is often featured on her daily Web segments. Veronica told me she watches all of the coverage via the TCL Web site, and that Elizabeth has the perfect body type for her designs. We're very excited about Veronica's visit this summer and plan to hold some special events related to TCL and in our shoppes while she's in town."
