koi design ships first Ecko Scrubs Collection to retailers

Leading apparel design and manufacturing company, koi design, LLC (koi), dubbed by industry professionals as “The Home of Designer Scrubs,” has teamed up with global fashion company Marc Ecko Enterprises to create two bold new scrubs collections for medical professionals: Ecko UNLTD., featuring modern men's scrubs, and Ecko Red, focusing on fashion-forward women's options.

In stores now, the new lines combine the youthful, cutting-edge styles for which Ecko is known, plus the flattering fit and quality craftsmanship that are the hallmarks of koi. The entire collection can be found at many of koi's retailers, and viewed online.

Both Ecko scrubs collections by koi are geared to flatter men and women with their bold, fresh patterns and colors coupled with a tailored fit, rather than the typical unflattering “unisex” apparel that is commonly offered by commodity scrubs manufacturers. Crafted with koi's signature attention to detail, the new lines also offer versatile design elements for greater functionality. Reversible tops and bottoms allow professionals to sport edgy patterns or classic solid colors, depending on their mood or appropriateness in their workplace. koi's patent-pending reversible pockets make for optimal convenience when wearing the scrubs, no matter what coordinates are worn together.

The licensing agreement marks Marc Ecko Enterprises' first foray into the designer medical apparel market, an industry that koi rejuvenated five years ago by bringing a fashion-forward approach to design to the scrubs niche, which was fundamentally lacking in imagination to date.
