Centex manufactures the Royal Scarf for the British Royal Wedding

Centex Exports, a leading exporter of high end luxury stoles based in Ludhiana has been commissioned to manufacture scarves for the public during the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on the 29th of April, 2011 at Westminster Abbey. Centex is the only Indian company that has been commissioned in this capacity. These exquisite mementos would be available to the public under Boden, a popular online and offline fashion business all over UK and the US.

Centex is acknowledged world over for its attention to detail and its unparalleled versatility for producing super-fine stoles. Amongst their many customers are the leading luxury brands of the world including Burberry, Hugo Boss & Chopard.

Last year, Centex collaborated with Hugo Boss (BLACK) to manufacture stoles for all the celebrities who attended the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival, once again the only such Indian entity to do so.

The fairy tale wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton will be a classic British occasion. As a reflection of Prince William's position as second in line to the British throne, the guest list will include VIPS from across the world as well as friends and family. Among others, the Royal extravaganza will witness the presence of – First Lady Michelle Obama, Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Tim Mathieson and The Beckhams.

The UK retail sector is expected to experience a sale of an additional £650 Million pounds as per BBC. Many of the heritage retailers have taken a pride and have offered souvenirs related to the event.
