Reliance Trends, the Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Retail's fashion apparel business, has teamed up with Lime Door Brands (LMB), an Australian firm to launch a lifestyle and sportswear collection - 'Spinner by Shane Warne', in the India market.
The brand, designed by famous Australian cricketer, Shane Warne was created in 2009, in association with a brand strategist, Michele Hamdorf who also is CEO of LMB, which holds a significant stake in 'Spinners by Shane Warne'.
Reliance Trends' CEO, Arun Sirdeshmukh said that, they are lucky to be the exclusive trade partner of the sports and fashion brand in India, and that, they are very much positive that the brand would be well accepted in the retail market in India.
He further said that, at a time when cricket fever is mounting, the brand would be an excellent offering to the cricket loving country. It would be made available at all the Reliance Trends outlets, he added.
Reliance Trends holds a strong position in the Indian retail industry as a progressively budding company, Michele Hamdorf said, and added that, it is a fashion-led and value-driven firm with great potential of offering newer products to the market.
