DCMA to make its first MMA line with Chris Camozzi

DCMA Collective, a leading lifestyle brand, partners with Mixed Martial Artist Chris Camozzi. Chris Camozzi was most recently seen on a fight that took place on the Main Card of UFC 127 and before that was on the Spike TV's UFC based reality show “The Ultimate Fighter”. The new relationship includes plans for a Chris Camozzi inspired and DCMA Collective designed apparel and accessories line.

DCMA Collective recently announced that it was entering the Mixed Martial Arts market through a partnership with leading MMA Marketing firm Ingrained Media. The signing of Chris Camozzi marks the next step in this process. While Chris Camozzi is not the most well known MMA Athlete in the sport and he is about to be thrust into the mainstream market. This may seem like an odd strategy to some but not to DCMA.

“We already know how to promote and get the word out. We also know about the struggle that comes before you gain this knowledge. As a Band and as a Brand I have seen the struggle and participated in it. We can afford to sponsor anyone but we choose to sponsor those that are in the struggle and Chris embodies what we are looking for,” said Benji Madden co-Founder of DCMA Collective.

DCMA Collective is more then a Skate or Band apparel company it is about a lifestyle and the experiences that are derived from that lifestyle. You simply can't define it, you just have to experience it. DCMA wants to experience MMA at all levels. We thrive and learn from these experiences. Some of the best known MMA Brands were not created in the UFC and DCMA is going to carve out its own niche with in the sport.

“We want to support the sport of MMA. Benji is passionate about MMA. We want to have DCMA Collective ingrained into the sport of MMA at all levels. We feel as if Chris represents that “up and coming” athlete we are excited to be involved with,” said Tai Cooperman President of DCMA Collective.

Chris Camoozi is currently is a Free Agent Mixed Martial Artist who lives and trains out of Littleton, Colorado. Chris is 14-4 overall and competes in the 185 pound weight class. Chris is an instructor at FactoryX Muay Thai and when he is not teaching he is training. Chris has fought for some of the most prestigious MMA organizations in the World.

“I was kind of shocked when I heard that DCMA Collective wanted to work with me. These are supposed to be the low points of my career after my most recent loss and having them believe in me has inspired me to work even harder.” said Chris Camozzi. “It is an honor to be associated with DCMA and I am looking forward to representing them in and outside of the events.”
