Mr Subhinder Singh as Managing Director of adidas India

We are pleased to announce that Subhinder Singh Prem, currently Managing Director Reebok India, has been appointed Managing Director adidas Group India and will take over responsibility for our overall business in India effective May 1, 2011.
Subhinder joined Reebok India in 1995. Since then, he has been an integral part of the brand's success story in India. Before becoming MD in 2003, he also held various positions within Reebok India, including Executive Director of Sales & Marketing for Reebok India.
As previously announced, we are currently implementing the Joint Operating Model in the dynamic and growing market of India. Bringing together adidas India and Reebok India as one team will ensure that the adidas Group continues as the overwhelming leader in sports within India, setting the pace and showing the way forward for many years to come.
We are confident that under Subhinder's leadership, the adidas Group in India will come together as one team and ensure we maintain our position at the pinnacle of the sports business on the Indian sub-continent.
At the same time, we are pleased to announce that Andreas Gellner, currently Managing Director adidas India, will take over responsibility as Managing Director South East Europe effective May 1, 2011.
In his new role, Andreas will be responsible for our business in Greece, Cyprus and the Balkans. Andreas has been at the helm of adidas India for 6.5 years and through his drive, commitment and proven leadership approach he was instrumental in bringing the brand and the organisation to the position of strength in the market that it enjoys today.
