Swag Like Us, a Los Angeles-based apparel line featuring remixed designs of iconic movie images and song lyrics, announces partnership with MGM to license and launch Platoon and Raging Bull collections. The limited-edition collections "Swag Like Us Vs. Platoon" and "Swag Like Us Vs. Raging Bull" feature classic movie images that have never before been printed on apparel.

"It is the unparalleled creative support and enthusiasm from the MGM team that has made this all possible," says Rick Martin, CEO of Swag Like Us. David Garcia, Creative Director for Swag Like Us adds, "Raging Bull and Platoon are iconic films and we set out to capture the essence of some of the most powerful images from these films- images that evoke emotion- and remix them."

"We are absolutely delighted to have Swag Like Us as an apparel partner on such iconic film properties as Platoon and Raging Bull," says Tricia Samuels, Executive Director of Licensing at MGM Studios. "They are extremely creative in the design process, and have developed a fresh, innovative, and trend setting collection. Their enthusiasm for the properties shines through their artwork, which will certainly resonate with film fans and fashionistas alike."

"Swag Like Us Vs. Platoon" pays homage to the 1986 Academy Award winning, Vietnam War film starring Charlie Sheen, and features a range of men's and women's styles including crew, v-necks, cloaks and wide scoop dolman bodies. "Swag Like Us Vs. Raging Bull" captures the raw emotion and grittiness of the 1980 Academy Award winning, biographical boxing film directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert DeNiro. The men's collection incorporates five designs on 100% cotton crew neck tees, which are garment dyed to achieve a super-soft vintage worn-in feel.

The Swag Like Us and MGM collaborative tee collections, remix classic images to create iconic style. Made in Los Angeles, Swag Like Us Apparel and MGM pieces have targeted distribution at retail boutiques and department stores nationwide.
