PPR-Volcom receive notification of early termination for tender offer

PPR S.A. and Volcom Inc jointly announced that they have received notification of early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, applicable to the tender offer for all of the outstanding shares of common stock of Volcom at a price of $24.50 per share in cash.
As previously announced, PPR's tender offer for Volcom is currently scheduled to expire at 12:00 midnight, New York City time, at the end of Thursday, June 9, 2011, unless the offer is extended. The offer remains subject to customary conditions, including receipt of other regulatory approvals. The transaction is anticipated to close in the third quarter of 2011.
