Athletic footwear and apparel major Adidas has bagged another client with America's Northern Kentucky University announcing that Adidas will be the official apparel, footwear and accessory brand of the university's athletic teams.

"This is a great moment for Northern Kentucky athletics," said Ken Bothof, Director of Athletics. "Partnering with adidas gives us the ability to outfit all 250+ student-athletes from head to toe with apparel, equipment and accessories from a world-renowned and premier brand. Furthermore, this partnership aligns with the core values of student-athlete well-being, brand awareness and fiscal responsibility established in our strategic plan."
Adidas, based in Portland, Oregon, provides jerseys and apparel for more than 100 colleges and universities including Indiana, Kansas and Louisville and has marketing agreements with the National Basketball Association, National Football League, Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer.
“Our mission is to make all athletes better and we're excited to partner with Norse Athletics to execute their mission of preparing and empowering student athletes for competitive success,” said Jim Murphy, Director of NCAA sports marketing for Adidas America.
