Snapdeal wins Australian Service Excellence Award 2015

E-commerce major Snapdeal has announced that the company has won the coveted Australian Service Excellence Award 2015 for the Service Excellence category. Snapdeal is the first Indian e-commerce company to receive this award for its high standards of management, training and commitment to customer experience excellence, according to a blog on its website.

The 14th Annual Australian Service Excellence Awards ceremony was held on October 28 in Melbourne. The Australian Service Excellence award is endorsed by the Prime Minister of Australia and is the country's most rigorous multi industry awards programme, which showcase the highest achievement in excellence.

Commenting on the achievement, Jayant Sood, Chief Customer Experience Officer (CCO), Snapdeal said, ”We are delighted to receive this award and be recognised for customer service excellence at such a prestigious global platform. The customer is at the heart of what we do and providing them with the best experience is our top most priority. It is an extremely proud moment for us to be the first Indian e-commerce company to win this prestigious award which is also a testimony to our best-in-class customer service operations at Snapdeal”.
