YKK launches Fix A Shape zipper at Ispo Munich

Fastening solutions provider YKK launched the Fix A Shape zipper at the recently held Ispo Munich for the outdoor, ski, action, performance sports, health & fitness segments.

“YKK's Fix A Shape zipper construction is YKK's latest ergonomic innovation and could potentially change the future of the outdoor apparel industry,” a YKK press release stated.

“The zipper supports the garment design by creating a stable shape when closed,” the Japanese company said.

“Specially designed Vislon elements lock into a curve that follows the shape of the chin without compromising comfort and mobility,” it added.

“But at the same time, allows for full movement of the head to give the ultimate in comfort and protection,” YKK informed.

YKK which offers total fastening solutions was found in 1934 in Japan and works with its customers to deliver quality fastening products that meet their ever-changing needs.

YKK is currently engaged in business in 71 countries or regions around the world and currently has over 40,000 employees.

Its manufacturing facilities have accredited certification to the International Standard ISO 9001 and comply with the latest laws and industrial regulations from around the globe. (AR)
