Zucchi, born 1958, has multi-year experiences in the textile machinery sector, and is currently managing director and a partner at Ferraro, a manufacturer specialising in finishing machinery. In addition, he is a shareholder in another company in the sector, Burocco Valvole, in which he is executive vice president.
In addition to being vice president of ACIMIT for the past two years, Zucchi has been a part of ACIMIT’s delegation at the Committee of European Textile Machinery Associations (Cematex) since 2015.
The ACIMIT members’ assembly also elected four vice presidents, namely, Federico Businaro (Isotex, Santex Rimar Group), Cristian Locatelli (Marzoli, Camozzi Group), Andrea Piattelli (Unitech) and Michele Riva (Reggiani Macchine).
ACIMIT represents around 300 manufacturers (employing close to 12,000 people) who produce machinery valued at around €2.7 billion, with exports accounting for over 85 per cent of the total sales. (RKS)
