Mr. Wayss particularly emphasized the need for training and awareness programs for the mid level employees and workers in the RMG industry for institutionalizing best practices in the workplace. He underscored the role of BKMEA to initiate the process.
He added that initially BKMEA employees will be developed as master trainers so that they could conduct trainings at factory level. Thanking Mr. Wayss for his proposal, Mr. Sunny agreed that mid level management and workers should be the focal points for the success of any program. He reiterated BKMEA’s full support and cooperation to ILO in the coming days as well.
