Developer of innovative textile solutions Polartec, LLC has collaborated with Ariat International, a marketer of footwear and apparel, to help launch their new line of Ariat Work FR clothing designed for women.

The assortment of tops and jeans feature Polartec FR technology, which provides consumers with the safety features hazardous work environments demand with the style, fit and comfort that women prefer.

“Our innovative fabrics provide our brand partners' garments with seemingly impossible benefits such as warmth without weight, durability, comfort and certified safety compliance,” Polartec said in a press release.

“Ariat is the latest example of a company using Polartec textiles to expand into a high performance market led by innovation,” it added.

“We knew we needed to differentiate our women's FR workwear by translating our signature style within the highly technical requirements of the field,” said Susan Glynn, vice president of apparel design at Ariat International.

“Polartec's FR textile platform gave us the stretch, performance and aesthetics needed to successfully launch our women's line,” Glynn too added.

Ariat has used Polartec's dual hazard compliant fabrics like Polartec Power Dry FR, Polartec Power Grid FR and Polartec Wind Pro FR, which uses yarn blends and fabrics that are permanently flame resistant.

“Combined with Ariat's own Greater Arm Mobility (GAM) and Moisture Management Technology (MMT), Ariat's women's FR clothing line keeps workers comfortable no matter the conditions,” it stated.

Polartec's fabrics provide workers with permanent NFPA 2112 and NFPA 70E flame resistance to keep workers safe out in the field and looking great after hours.

“Ariat's new FR women's workwear line perfectly exemplifies the versatility of Polartec's textiles,” said Michael Batson, global director of professional workwear & military.

“Our innovative fabrics provide our brand partners' garments with seemingly impossible benefits such as warmth without weight, durability, comfort and certified safety compliance,” Batson informed.

“Ariat is the latest example of a company using Polartec textiles to expand into a high performance market led by innovation,” he stated. (AR)
