The capital expenditure (capex) for construction of two Eco Smart factories in 2017 is budgeted at $30 million, and the investment will be made in stages starting mid-2017, Pan Brothers said while announcing its financial results for 2016.
In addition, a new plant under PT Teodore Pan Garmindo in West Java with an installed capacity of 6 million pieces is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2018. This will increase the installed capacity of the garment sector from 111 million pieces at the end of 2017 to 117 million pieces in 2018.
The construction of a Teodore Pan Garmindo factory in Tasikmalaya is budgeted at $5 million, and this investment would also be made in stages beginning mid-2018. (RKS)
