Pedro del Hierro presents Spain football team suit

Grupo Cortefiel, the Royal Spanish Football Federation and Santa Mónica Sports have signed a new sponsorship agreement whereby the brand Pedro del Hierro will be acting as an Official Supplier / Collaborator for an extendable two-year period.

The made-to-measure Pedro del Hierro total look that the team will be wearing was presented to the media during a press conference held in the Natioanl Football team’s headquarters. The total look includes a cool wool suit, shirts, ties, shoes, socks and coat. The firm has resorted to a clever mix of the very latest in fashion design, innovation and technology created especially for the Spanish team.

Vicente del Bosque, the National Coach, and Fernando Sáenz, General Manager were present at the press conference to officially announce this agreement. The team will wear Pedro del Hierro’s suit whenever they attend a public engagement, as well as the coaching and management team, will be sporting a full outfit made up of a suit, coat and accessories, all designed by the Pedro del Hierro design team, just as they did during the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, when they became World Champions.

Major international competitions such as the 2013 Confederations Cup and the 2014 World Cup will provide the Spanish team that boasts the greatest number of supporters around the world with the chance to showcase design ‘made in Spain’ by a luxury fashion firm that is committed to its major international expansion and development.

In the words of Fernando Sáenz, Cortefiel and Pedro del Hierro’s General Manager: “This year, in which our international presence has expanded to more than 70 countries, has been one of major progress in consolidating our international presence, especially in the Asian market where the firm is set to open more than two hundred stores in the mid-term.We are extremely proud to be involved with the Spanish football team and their work as ambassadors for our country, whose prestige is renowned throughout the world."
