Ebony partners with Gautier of France for Home Adornment

Sharing the company vision, Manhad Narula, Director, Ebony Retail mentioned, “We have been doing well in the department store format, but the time has come for us to take the next big step and expand into specialty retailing.
We plan to enter various specialty formats and we are starting this process with our entry in the Home adornment vertical where we are partnering with Gautier of France”
M. Dominique Soulard, the Chairman and Managing Director of Gautier said, “We are happy partnering with Ebony in India and the entire range of authentic Gautier products would be made available to the Indian consumer in an internationally benchmarked retail environment.”
The Home Adornment market is a growing one and the Ebony Gautier range would be well positioned to deliver in this market. According to Manhad Narula, “We see a vacant market slot and therefore a clear opportunity in contemporary styled branded furniture which is internationally benchmarked in terms of design and quality and yet provides good value to the Indian consumer.”
Confirming this new initiative, Lalit Kumar, CEO and Director of Ebony Retail said,” With increased spending on home renovation amongst Indian consumers, there is a growing demand for contemporary styled furniture.
The Ebony Gautier stores would deliver the entire range of high quality home improvement solutions all under one roof in a conducive retail environment ”
At Ebony Gautier stores customers can expect high quality, contemporary and exclusive designs and fair value for money. There are innovative and exciting room themes to choose from and the shopping experience is further enhanced through a bundle of convenient services like Easy Finance, Exchange schemes, Designer Assistance etc.
The first outlet of this unique new concept has been launched in Noida. An investment of over Rs 120 crores has been earmarked to launch about 15 to 20 similar Ebony Gautier stores all across the country over the next two years.
