Austria-based company Flying Tent's all-in-one pop-up tent and hammock has bagged the prize in the hardware summer category and self-rolling yoga mats by American start-up YoYo Mats is the best accessory of the year. German start-up InteractiveSquash's Digital Squash Revolution and Switzerland based Anticonf's sustainable snowboards are chosen as the best products in the fitness and hardware winter categories.
Additionally, French company PIQ has been named the winner in the wearables category for its digital training efficiency, while Philippines based Football for Life has been chosen as the winner in the social awareness category.
An independent and international jury, mostly made up of former prizewinners, examined nearly 400 submissions to choose the winners in the eight categories along with 42 finalists. The winners will be presented their prizes in the ISPO Brandnew Village at ISPO Munich 2017 to be held from February 5 – 8.
All the prizewinners will also get a chance to exhibit their prize-winning creations at ISPO Munich. (KD)
