Ziegler's new Eastern European Regional Center in Bábolna North West Hungary) has been inaugurated in the presence of more than 100 guests, among them the Head of Economic Affairs at the German Embassy.
With a total investment volume of more than 1000 million HUF (approx 3.5 million EUR), the building of J.H. Ziegler EERC Kft was built on a 18000 sqm site as Ziegler's distribution centre for Central and Eastern Europe.
In addition, the building will accommodate new fabrication facilities of J.H. Ziegler Magyarország Kft that are already producing voluminous nonwovens, particularly for the furniture and automotive industries.
Ziegler expects production and distribution close to the Central/Eastern European market to bring further growth. In the medium-term, Ziegler will employ a total of approximately 30 employees in Bábolna.
The entire building project was finished on schedule in less than six months' construction time. The project was planned by Plan Bau Kft., who are based in Tatabánya; the general contractor responsible for the work was Market Kft. from Budapest.
J.H. Ziegler is a modern manufacturer of technical nonwovens made of staple fibres. Even if the processing of natural fibres has been increasing in recent years, synthetic fibres, especially those based on polyester, are still the main raw material because of its convincing technical properties.
