Nominations & special honors for 2006 LA Fashion Awards

Each winner will also receive a subscription to WGSN, the world's leading online research, trend analysis and news service for the fashion and style industries. The winner of the Moss Adams Fashion Innovator (MAFI) Award will also receive $5,000 worth of partner consulting services from Moss Adams, LLP, and complimentary membership in Fashion Business Incorporated. Honored guests at the Rooftop Reception yesterday also received a limited edition jewelry gift set from Tattooed Steel, featuring artwork created by Design Tonic.
This recognition program and gala event would not be possible without extensive corporate and community support. Wells Fargo Century joins founding sponsor Moss Adams, LLP and NASDAQ at the Award level this year, naming the Wells Fargo Century Fashion Achievement Award.
In addition to giving an Award at the main event, California Apparel Stock of the Year Award sponsor NASDAQ will host a "Closing Bell Ceremony" at the NASDAQ Stock Market in New York City on September 15, 2006, in celebration of the global reach of California fashion and its top fashion talents. A reception will follow at the Hotel QT.
FedEx leads the slate of additional corporate sponsors, which includes Design Tonic, WGSN, Market Wire, FTC Commercial Corporation, Traction Press, Clear Image Printing, Kinetic Sculptures, Cloutier Agency, Much and House PR, Evolutionary Media Group, Santee Village Lofts, LA Fashion District BID, Directives West, Biothermand Paul Mitchell. The Standard, Downtown LA and Hotel QT are the Official Hotel Partners of the LA Fashion Awards. The Scottish Fashion Awards are special friends of the event, with a creative cultural exchange program established earlier this year.
