MAGIC widens women's sportswear collection through unique presentation

MAGIC, world's largest and most widely recognized organizer of trade shows for the apparel industry announces that window and the gallery return as the centerpieces of WWDMAGIC's Women's Sportswear and Dresses category with 40 directional collections for spring/summer 2006. These juried areas, featuring Bridge, Updated and Better sportswear, add to WWDMAGIC's extensive offerings with more than 170 exhibitors covering.

Window, a dedicated environment for Women's Sportswear & Dresses, maintains its unique configuration, forgoing traditional booths in favor of a communal exhibit area, surrounding a shared central lounge area. The gallery, adjacent to Window, returns for its fourth showing with new resources and exciting launch.

New collections in Window include Issue, and Lapis, from Bob Ditchik; Lauren Hasen, New Frontier, Hush Sport, and Pow-Wow/Itsu from Don Reichman; Suzi Roher from Rep et Trois; Niteline, Cass & Co., and Dina Bar-el from Brad Hughes; Vitamina Jean and Equestrian Designs from Barbara Nogg Inc.

Jamie Kreitman and Green Tees from Bernadette Mopera; and Ella Gonen and Jem Designs from Salt & Pepper Sales. Returning collections include Spi 25 from Don Reichman, Komarov/Kisca, Heavan Knows/Casadei, and Kay Celine from Rep et Trois; Sno Skins, Nally & Millie, and Too She She from Karen George; Tadashi, Nicole Bakti, and Spanx from Brad Hughes; and Basix from Bob Ditchik,

In the gallery, new exhibitors include Go Silk, International Women's Apparel Group, Skirtin' Around, Me USA/An for ME, Eileen Kelley, Laura San Remo Knits, Exclusively Misook, McClintock Collections, TS Dixon. Lana Lee returns to the show this month.
