Three-day seminar program will be presented by Lenzing Innovation at Texworld USA. North America’s largest apparel fabrics show offers presentations for attendees ranging from sourcing, trends to the politics of fashion, January 14-16, 2013.

“The seminar series is based on current industry topics related to sourcing, trends, sustainability, and technology. In bringing together the entire supply chain we can exchange ideas to add value and efficiency to the apparel industry.” says Tricia Carey, USA Merchandising Manager, Lenzing. Arthur Friedman, Senior Editor, Textiles and Trade, WWD moderates a panel discussing the Politics of Fashion, while Edward Hertzman, Founder, Sourcing Journal, discusses a look into fast fashion and their unique take on sourcing. In addition, Fran Sude, President, Design Options discusses creativity in the design process and key color trends.

“This seminar program is designed to answer questions about the current state of the industry, as well as providing the latest information in sustainability, trends and fast fashion’s affect on sourcing,” says John P. Experts in fiber and fabric formation will discuss how to select just the right fibers, appropriate blends and the perfect construction for specialized textiles.
