Monforts showing innovations at Indo Intertex

Alongside the new Montex 8500 stenter featuring a number of innovative features, Monforts will be showing a wide range of advanced innovations at the Indo Intertex exhibition in Jakarta in hall 3, stand B80.

The new Montex 8500 includes several new features and options including an optional integrated support belt for heavy coated fabrics and a newly designed operator's platform with improved access.

Features also include; enhanced visualisation introducing 'smartphone' features; a new stentering chain; and an Eco Booster heat recovery module where an additional Exhaust Air Cleaning device can be added.

It also has a new and further enhanced visualisation software Qualitex 800 with 'finger tip' control features, offering smart phone-type techniques for machine operators and ensuring smarter operating procedures.

“The new stenter also incorporates the latest improved operator's inlet section platform featuring an optionally available slideable monitor across the machine,” a Monforts press release informed.

“Offering both improved clarity and ergonomics the platform also provides improved access for coating processes, while in knit version shortest fabric routing from draw roller to pinning in position is secured,” Monforts added.

“Additional benefits allow the operator to compose and pre-programme the 'dashboard' of the monitor to his own requirements and preferences,” the German textile technology manufacturer stated.

The company will also be showing the energy saving Eco-Applicator soft coating process, for the application of liquors and functional chemicals for denim fabric applications.

According to Monforts, the Eco-Applicator offers significant energy savings with reduced liquor application.

“The multi-functional and multi-purpose process ensures the lowest energy input for consecutive drying to its minimal liquor application,” it observed.

Responding to the demand by the coating segment for textile finishing, Monforts has announced a single source for new and innovative one-stop solutions; particularly for technical textiles.

Following the takeover of the knowhow of coating specialist Timatec, Monforts now offers a complete package of coating solutions for all types of coating applications.

Coating applications include knife over air, knife over roller, magnetic roller and printing-head coating options. (AR)
