Cotton County strengthens its presence further in Punjab

Cotton County – one of the renowned readymade garment brand from the house of Nahar Industrial Enterprises Ltd (NIEL) has opened its 8th Store in Ludhiana. With the opening of the new company owned showroom at Urban Estate, Dugri, Ludhiana the total no of showroom goes up to 205.
It has received for readymade men's wear, Cotton County is now foraying into Women & Kids wear segment. The ladies segment with the brand name FEMME will comprise of a wide range of variety keeping all the latest fashion trends into consideration.
Also, observing the high scope and potential available along with the growing demand for the kids wear, the Company will soon be coming with its kids wear for the age group of 4 to 16 years under the brand name TAZO.
After printing its large footsteps in North Indian Markets, Cotton County now targeting Western and eastern part of the country. The company has already opened over 204 exclusive outlets of Cotton County garments in the various cities of Gujarat, Rajasthan & Maharashtra and it is further expanding its network in these states.
The retail business of Nahar is growing at more than100 percent annually and with Cotton County's presence in new segments it foresee a major jump in our growth rate. The target of the company is to open 250 retail stores by the end of this fiscal and 1000 outlet by 2010. In the first year the retails business has contributed Rs 100-crore market which will rise to Rs 250 to Rs 300 crore in 2007 & 1000 crore in 2010.
