All China Leather Exhibition – 14 year old!!

The All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) is China's premier international annual event for the leather industry. It is held together with China International Footwear Fair (CIFF) and Moda Shanghai 2011.
Now in its 14th year, the 2011 show runs September 6 – 8, 2011 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Pudong.
ACLE ranges across the entire Ieather industry supply chain: from raw material of hides and skins, to semi-finished and finished leathers, chemicals and dyes, tanning machinery, to CAD/CAM systems and software.
CIFF and Moda Shanghai offer footwear products, leather garments, travelware, bags and fashion accessories.China remains by far the largest single manufacturer of leather and of finished leather goods, such as footwear. Consequently it is regarded as an extremely important market for domestic and overseas suppliers.
The gross industrial output value for China's leather industry, from the period of January to July was USD 70.7 billion, an increase of 25.9% year on year. The total exports of leather and leather products were USD 36.22 billion, an increase of 27% than last year. The total imports of leather and leather products were USD 4.13 billion, an increase of 19.7% over last year. Although the export of leather shoes, semi-finished leather and garments slightly decreased, most of the other products enjoyed a steady increased.
This year the fairs expand further with ACLE featuring more finished leathers and synthetic materials. In total, there are 7 halls housing over 1,200 exhibitors, 24% up compared to last year.
International participation is up by 10%. There are 22 pavilions from Australia, Brazil, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Pakistan, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and the USA.
The Turkish pavilion at ACLE has expanded by 44% over last year, making it one of the largest. There will be 51 Turkish companies showcasing their quality leathers, tanning machines and chemicals.
The most active domestic manufacturers of leather and synthetic materials at ACLE include Wenzhou Yatai Tanning, Senlu Leather, Shandong Dahuanjiu Leather, Dongyang Leather, Jinxin Leather, Yantai Wanhua Leather and etc.
Many famous domestic companies such as Kangnai, Aokang, Jinhou, Hengda, Mulinsen, Fuguiniao, Zhaoyi, Rongshun, Jinmaiwang, etc will display at CIFF their latest products including leather shoes, leisure shoes, children's shoes, snow boots and slippers.
