Gucci Group to setup new logistics centre in Switzerland

The order is worth approximately 40 million Swiss francs. The new centre will be built in Sant’Antonino, in the Ticino canton.

With the new centre Luxury Goods International will have a warehouse of approximately 320,000 m² to manage world delivery of the labels handled by the company, notably Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta.

CSC was selected after an exacting tender procedure with bids placed by all the leading Swiss and Italian specialists.

A subsidiary of the Impregilo Group, CSC is one of Switzerland’s most important general contractors; it is currently working on a large number of infrastructure projects, including the Gotthard rail tunnel, the Visp motorway tunnel in the Vallese canton and two rail flyovers near Bellinzona.
