The following reappointments to the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission have been made by Congressional leaders for two-year terms ending December 31, 2009:
• Commissioner Daniel Blumenthal of the District of Columbia was reappointed by the Senate's President Pro Tempore on the recommendation of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for a second two-year term expiring December 31, 2009.
• Commissioner Carolyn Bartholomew of the District of Columbia was reappointed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for a fourth term expiring December 31, 2009. During 2008, Ms. Bartholomew, who just completed a one-year term as the Commission's Chairman, will serve for a second time as the Commission's Vice Chairman.
• Commissioner Jeffrey L. Fiedler of Great Falls, Virginia was reappointed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for a second term expiring December 31, 2009.
