Shri Kamal Nath, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, during his call on the Finland Prime Minister, Mr. Matti Vanhanen, informed that India is a vibrant economy and huge opportunities are available for doing business with India.

India has a large skilled human resource base, which can be combined with Finland's technology and investment to create a win-win situation for both sides, he added. Shri Kamal Nath stated that initiative for cooperation in renewable energy sectors needs to be encouraged.

The Commerce Minister also reiterated that India looks forward to early conclusion of comprehensive trade and investment negotiations with European Union (EU), as these agreements provide building blocks for successful economic relationship.
