Crocs Inc was recently honored with the Executive Director's Award from the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). The award recognizes CrocsRX, a leader in medical shoe sales, as making a significant contribution to the advancement of podiatric medicine in 2007. The award will be presented at the APMA's Annual House of Delegates Meeting in Washington, DC on April 7, 2008.

“The APMA is the leading voice in podiatric medical care, so it is a huge honor to receive their highest award,” said Eddie Scott, Director of CrocsRX. “We look forward to continuing to work with APMA to offer ergonomic footwear and bringing those solutions to market for consumers.”

“The APMA is committed to improving the quality of life for individuals suffering from a variety of health-related ailments through podiatric solutions,” said Dr. Glenn Gastwirth, Executive Director of the APMA. “We are pleased to recognize CrocsRX for advancing footwear alternatives for these patients while offering fashionable designs that protect while relieving pain.”

A specialty footwear line designed for people with specific medical and therapeutic, podiatric conditions, the entire CrocsRX product line has received the APMA Seal of Acceptance based on a myriad of podiatric standards. Included in the CrocsRX line are three distinctive styles – the Relief, Cloud and Silver Cloud. All three styles combine specialized features to reduce foot discomfort, including Crocs' proprietary Croslite material which conforms to the foot to create a truly customized fit.
